We try to collect a healthy mix of older and new titles, fiction, and nonfiction, for each SYNC summer season. Thank you this week to Oasis for contributing a contemporary nonfiction audiobook for 2018.

Sarah Thebarge, quite by accident, met a family of six Samali refugees in the American town she'd just decided to make her home. Narrator Kirsten Potter reads THE INVISIBLE GIRLS with nuance and a gentleness that offer a reflective space for listening teens.

Thank you, Oasis, for sharing this with next summer's teen listeners! While we wait warmer summer days, meet the author introducing her book here.
