Two publishers who have been generous with SYNC participants over the years return for our eleventh season with some particularly great titles.

From Recorded Books, audiobook readers will have the opportunity to dive into Dashka Slater’s nonfiction THE 57 BUS, performed by talented narrator Robin Miles. Also from Recorded Books, we are delighted to be able to offer Octavia Butler’s contemporary classic KINDRED, performed by Kim Staunton.  Thank you, Recorded Books for providing such excellent titles to our 2020 program of free audiobooks for teens!

Dreamscape Media is also back and providing teens with fine listening in 2020.  Kelly Loy Gilbert’s PICTURE US IN THE LIGHT, performed by James Chen, is an #ownvoices title, as is LEARNING TO BREATHE, written by Janice Lynn Mather and performed by Chrystal Bethell.  Both these selections offer listeners opportunities to hear a wide variety of spoken English, some which may sound just like their own family’s.

Thank you to Dreamscape and Recorded Books for contributing to what is shaping up to be a summer of powerful audiobook listening!
