We're continuing to thank all the publishers who make the AudiobookSYNC program possible with great listening selections for teens. One of our generous returning publishers is Brilliance Publishing, who again this year is providing audiobooks they’ve produced from a couple different book publishers, including Candlewick. Oasis Audio, another longtime SYNC supporter, is also returning for another summer of SYNC audiobook giveaways.

Candlewick on Brilliance will be supplying teen listening readers with Paul Janeczko’s history based on only recently declassified World War II espionage work. SECRET SOLDIERS, performed in audio by Ron Butler, is a great fit for makerspace program inspiration.  Also from Candlewick on Brilliance, we’ll be able to share Meg Medina’s award-winning, #OwnVoices historical novel, BURN BABY BURN, narrated by Marisol Ramirez.

Brilliance is also providing our program with Adenrele Ojo’s narration of Ava Dellaira’s teen novel, IN SEARCH OF US. Brilliance’s fourth title, Matt de la Peña’s MEXICAN WHITEBOY, narrated by Henry Leyva, is also an #OwnVoices contribution to our 2020 program.

From Oasis Audio, teens can anticipate the opening title in Morgan L. Busse’s "The Ravenwood Saga,” THE MARK OF THE RAVEN. Narrated by Jaimee Draper, this is a fantasy that offers sharply defined characters and a dark setting.

As you can see, there are many options coming to SYNC’s participants in our eleventh year.  We’re preparing a toolkit of posters and other promotional materials for our website, so check back soon to collect what you need to help spread the word!
