Share Listening, Not IRL Social Space

Written by Francisca Goldsmith on Thursday, March 26, 2020

We are just over a month from the launch of our 11th season. For those new to SYNC, there are a few details that can being you up to speed quickly: SYNC Audiobooks for Teens provides free to keep downloads of excellent audiobooks. Only individuals, not libraries or other institutional collections, can access and keep these files. And when we say keep, we mean keep. Each title is available for one week only so even if you don’t plan to listen to that title during its week, make sure you grab it because when the week is gone it is, too.

This week we put together our annual Pinterest board of the season to help you create publicity locally. Each week’s section of the SYNC Audiobooks for Teens 2020 board includes the week’s poster from our Toolkit, the featured audiobook covers linked to clips so you can “taste” the productions, and photos of the authors and narrators.  Share away on your class Pinterest boards, readers’ advisory Pinterest boards, wherever you share Pins.

Share your at-home listening tagged with #audiobooksync2020 so we can find you on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, wherever you are staying socially removed as we continue through this strange season of COVID-19.  We’re anxious to move on and know you are as well. We CAN guarantee that come April 30 you’ll have the opportunity to build your 2020 audiobook library whether you are still at home or back in the outside world.

And speaking of “world”—one new feature of this season’s SYNC program is that all 26 titles have world rights so no matter where you are, you can collect free audiobooks from SYNC in 2020.
