AudiobookSYNC 2016 introduces international titles you may not yet know

Written by Francisca Goldsmith on Tuesday, January 19, 2016

The AudiobookSYNC program typically includes a variety of titles new to audiobook and even to print. This year, you'll be meeting some selections familiar outside the US while relatively unknown to American readers.

Thanks to Bolinda Audio, an Australian company that has supported AudiobookSYNC for some years now, you'll be introduced to PENNIES FOR HITLER, by Jackie French, an author who is quite popular in much of the English-speaking youth book world beyond the US. Of course, we think you'll find much to appreciate and enjoy in this view of a time and several places unfamiliar to many American audiobook listeners.

We have several other audio publisher donations that will open out the SYNC slate to an international experience as well.  And, in case you haven't heard our great news, we've been able to lengthen the program by another week in 2016, bringing the SYNC season to 15 weeks and 30 free audiobooks!

How are you planning to connect your community's teens with SYNC this year? We're putting together our annual toolkit and we'd love to hear your creative approaches, if you're willing to share them with your peers.
