Thank you for sharing so generously! This has become a great tradition of our summers! We listen all through the year and look forward to the next summer’s selections.

  2. Cynthia D. Perez

Is there a way to find out what pairings were offered in the past? I have a handful of titles but cannot remember what they were paired with. My daughter is not a big reader and I am hoping she might enjoy audiobooks instead.

    1. Michele Cobb

Under the ABOUT tab is the SYNC ARCHIVE which has all the pairings from the past. http://www.audiobooksync.com/about/previous-sync-downloads/

  3. Julia

Hi. I’m new on this site and have two questions…
    1. Are we only allowed one download a week,
    2. Is this legal?

    Thanks
    Anne

    1. Michele Cobb

You may download both titles each week while the download period is open for those titles. Please restrict the files to personal use. We have permission from the rights holder to give these titles to you so yes, it is legal.

It’s been another wonderful year, thank you so much . My mother and I have really enjoyed the recordings, with The Raven Boys a particular favourite. Special thanks to the publishers for their generosity in taking part in the scheme.

    1. afadmin

We are also big fans of RAVEN BOYS. The sequel THE DREAM THIEVES is coming out 9/17!

  16. Lacey

    1. afadmin

  18. Joyce

This has been an awesome program! I work at a public library and weekly we had flyers out of the weekly downloads! I have download many of the titles myself! I hope you will have this program again next year…

  19. Joanna

    Dear SYNC,

I’m using your colourful posters-with-QR-codes to promote each week’s books to the students at my school. The one for the week 1st – 8th August is missing! Quick! Is there a link you can send me for the poster of “Death Cloud” and “Sherlock Holmes”?

(I’ll live if you can’t, though.)

  20. Cynthia Dickey

These books are amazing and I SO appreciate you providing them this summer! I have really enjoyed listening to them ALL! I am the faculty sponsor of the YA student book club where I teach and this has given me SO many great YA novels to suggest to my kids when the new school year starts…and having the classics to pair them with is SUCH a bonus; often times I have older students in the club who want more substance, and giving them a classic as a companion does just that, AND offers an EXCELLENT bridge to the younger readers who thought they hated all classics :)

    1. afadmin

Cynthia, you just made our day or maybe even our whole summer. This is exactly our goal and THANK YOU for sharing these books and listening experiences with your students!

  21. Sharon Rawlins

Just finished listening to “Carter Finally Gets It” by Brent Crawford, narrated by Nick Podehl. I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in my life! I think guys will really love this book, especially with Nick doing the narration. The character Carter finds himself in many hilarious and embarrassing situations and Nick does of terrific job of vocalizing this.
    Thanks for offering this title.

  22. Lee

I hope you don’t mind this senior citizen crashing your young adult party! I am almost 64, but I love audio books and there are so many young adult titles that are wonderful reading for any age. I am extremely busy in the summer, so I have been downloading the books to save for this winter, and long beyond. Thank you so much for these offerings. My pocketbook thanks you, too!

  23. Alison

I am listening to The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater, read by Will Patton. The story is fantastic and the voice reading it is just brilliant!

  24. Jessica Meyer

Thank you so much! I just discovered this and it is so amazing!

  25. Deah

Thanks so much! Is it okay if I post the link on my library blog?

    1. afadmin

Absolutely! There is a Tool Kit here with images and suggested copy (if you need it). The Tool Kit gets updated weekly if you want to share a particular week’s pairing!

  26. Gayle Dean

Thanks again for these audiobooks – some great listening time ahead. :)

  27. Jared R

I was wondering if there was any way to get downloads of the previous years books? There are a few from 2011 and 2010 that I would like to have but not sure if I can still download them. Thanks!

    1. afadmin

Hello Jared! I wish they were still around, but SYNC titles are only available for one week. If you have OverDrive access thru your library, you should be able to get most of them courtesy of your library!

  28. Iris Halom

Thank you so much for these books. I look forward to the summer and reading each of these.

    Iris

  29. Elizabeth A

Summer starts when the downloads start. Thanks so much for doing this. Have blogged about it to help spread the word.

      Thank you for sharing, Gwen!

  31. carla

I am so excited to see your line up for this summer! You are so very generous to offer so much! I can only say, thank you!

  32. Brandy

I love these offerings each year and will once again be sharing with my students and colleagues! Is it permissible for me to add these digital files to my library’s collection for student and teacher use?

    1. afadmin

Thanks for being in touch! The files are for individual use only, so SADLY you cannot add them to your collection.

  33. Susie Sharp

Thanks for another great line up!

I highly recommend The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place, Book 1: The Mysterious Howling by Maryrose Wood, read by Katherine Kellgren & Sold by Patricia McCormick, read by Justine Eyre…Both fantastic books and narration!

  34. MarthaE
